Why is my pool water cloudy?
If a swimming pool uses Heatsavr, it is important that the chlorine dosage* is maintained properly.
If too little chlorine is dosed in the swimming pool water, Heatsavr may not be broken down quickly enough and will eventually build up (often after a few weeks). Over time, an overdose occurs, causing too much Heatsavr to remain on the top layer of the water. This looks like pollen, but eventually it will clump together and sink to the bottom as flakes.

There are several reasons why your swimming pool water may be cloudy, such as: excessive use of flocculant, too much iron in the water or too much phosphate/nitrate.

It is crucial to maintain the values of various additives (such as pH - Chlorine - cyanuric acid - Calcium hardness - Iron content - nitrate and phosphate) to the swimming pool water to keep the water clear or to restore it.
