Heatsavr for a Skimmer Pool or Overflow Pool?

A pool with a skimmer combined with Heatsavr is the ideal combination. Little to no Heatsavr is lost because it is quickly drawn in by the skimmer and then pumped directly back into the pool water, where Heatsavr will float to the surface and form the invisible layer.

What is a skimmer and which type is best suited for which pool?

In the pool world, the skimmer is often considered an inconspicuous component. However, the functionality and visual impact that a skimmer adds to your pool are significant.

1. Choice between the suction nozzles:

Choosing between a narrow or wide suction nozzle is crucial for the type of pool you have. The narrow suction nozzle is suitable for various pools. Wide suction nozzles have more appeal and a larger reach, but only fit well on straight walls.

2. Standard or High Water Level Skimmer:

A high water level skimmer provides an aesthetic change but also actually raises the water level by 5 to 10 centimeters compared to a standard skimmer. This not only makes the pool look sleeker, but also reduces the visibility of the skimmer as it aligns closer to the edge.

3. Color Choice:

Consider the color of the skimmer as an opportunity to give your pool a personal touch.

Heatsavr for an Overflow Pool

Heatsavr is also applicable to overflow pools with a buffer tank. For several years, we have created a great solution for this: a floating buffer skimmer. We place a floating skimmer in the buffer of overflow pools, which skims the surface water. This is done with a large enough volume to prevent Heatsavr buildup in the buffer, allowing Heatsavr to quickly flow back into the pool. Once in the pool, the Heatsavr molecules rise to the surface and start working again.
